We recently heard none other than the The Beatles themselves chose Rishikesh to do a little quality mediation time. They stayed in an International Academy of Meditation ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. While currently closed and somewhat neglected, it’s unofficially open to anyone with a spare 50 Rupee bribe at hand!
